Project-Based Learning
In 2012, I taught science at a Project Based Learning school in Hope, AR. It was affiliated with the NewTech Network. I also taught courses on inquiry learning and project-based learning at both the University of Texas at Arlington and the University of Texas Permian Basin. I am available for keynote speeches, webinars (synchronous/1-2 hours or half day), and short in-person trainings (1/2 day or extended training and follow-up consulting). Mentoring
I believe in the importance of mentoring K-12 teachers and junior faculty at universities to ensure their success. I am interested in working with individuals or small groups of faculty to guide them through the first 5 years of teaching (for secondary school teachers) and through the tenure clock (for tenure-track faculty). I am also interested in assisting teachers who are moving from K-12 to the university level (or vice versa). These services can include, but are not limited to:

Neurodiversity in Education
I was diagnosed at 28 (and properly diagnosed at 50) with ADHD. Somehow I completed a Masters and Doctorate and went through the tenure process as a neurodivergent (ND) educator. I want to share my experiences and expertise about living and working as a ND and give you the confidence to know that you can be a successful teacher or professor. Training in this category includes, but is not limited to:
